Gerresheimer Küssnacht AG

In Switzerland we operate a facility with a production area of more than 3,600 sqm, 2,300 sqm of which are set aside for ISO class 8 (100,000) clean-room production and 800 sqm for controlled areas. The Küssnacht plant specializes in the production of diagnostics disposables, i.e. laboratory disposables such as cuvettes and consumables for analysis systems with output rates in the multi-million range. Another core activity of the Swiss facility is the production of inhalers. The facility's 33 injection molding machines and 12 assembly systems run in highly automated 24 x7 production cycles. The Küssnacht plant is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 13485:2003 & AC2009 and passed an FDA inspection of the production of a medical product (Type 3) with direct blood contact without any observations.
