Supervisory Board

Gerhard Schulze joined Gerresheimer Glas AG in 1968 and was a member of the management board there between 1985 and 2004. As a board member he held responsibility for finances, controlling, corporate planning and IT between 1985 and 1987. In 1988, he additionally assumed responsibility for HR as Labor Director. Between 2002 and 2004 he was responsible for HR (Labor Director) and strategy. Mr. Schulze has been Chairman of the Gerresheimer AG Supervisory Board since 2008.

Francesco Grioli has been working at the IG BCE trade union headquarters since 2001. From 2001 to 2007 he was Head of the Youth/Training Department and Managing Director of Fejo GmbH. From 2007 to 2009 he was Head of the Works Constitution Department. He has been Executive Secretary in Management Division 5 “Wages/Finances” at IG BCE since 2009. 

Lydia Armer started her apprenticeship as retail assistant at Tengelmann in 1974 When she passed the final examination in 1976 she moved to the butchers’ Josef Wirth. In 1982 she joined Wilden KG (now Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH). Since 2001 Lydia Armer has been full-time chairwoman of the works council there.

Günther Fehn joined Tettauer Glashüttenwerke (today Gerresheimer Tettau GmbH) in March 1993 and worked as Shift Manager and Works Council Chairman. He has been working as Quality Controller since April 2010.

Olaf Grädler joined Bünder Glas GmbH (today Gerresheimer Bünde GmbH) in 1974. He has held various positions in the HR department and was appointed as Head of HR in 1990.

Dr. Axel Herberg worked for Krupp Industrietechnik GmbH and afterwards as a consultant for McKinsey. He joined the Gerresheimer Group in 1992 and was appointed as a member of the Management Board in 1996. Between 2000 and 2010 he was CEO of Gerresheimer. Since 2010 he has been a Private Equity Partner of the Blackstone Group with responsibility for German-speaking regions of Europe.

Reiner Ludwig joined Spessart Glas GmbH  (today Gerresheimer Lohr GmbH) in 1975. He held positions of responsibility in various production areas and was ultimately appointed as Shift Manager. He has been full-time Works Council Chairman of Gerresheimer Lohr GmbH since 1998.

Hans Peter Peters is co-founder (2006) and Vice Chairman of the Lincoln International Group - an international investment bank. Previous positions (from 1992 onwards) include Board Chairman of UBS AG in Germany, CFO of VIAG AG and CEO of Morgan Stanley AG - where he was responsible for German-speaking countries and central Europe.

Dr. Gerhard Prante joined Hoechst AG in 1970. From 1972 – 1974 he worked at Hoechst Philippines in Manila and in 1985 he assumed responsibility for the global management of Hoechst’s agricultural operations. In 1994 he was appointed as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Hoechst Schering AgrEvo GmbH and in 1999 he was appointed as Deputy CEO of Aventis CropScience S.A. Since taking retirement in 2002 he has been performing supervisory and advisory board functions. Dr. Gerhard Prante has been a Member of the Management Board of Agrarius AG, Bad Homberg, since 2009.

Harald Sikorski has been working for the German Mining, Chemical and Energy Workers Trade Union (IG BCE) since 1992. In February 2007 he was appointed as the IG BCE’s Deputy Regional Director for Bavaria. He has been the IG BCE’s Regional Director Altötting since March 2011.

Theodor Stuth commenced employment with Deloitte in 1989 as auditor and corporate tax consultant. He then went on to specialize in mergers & acquisitions and restructuring projects and was involved in the development and management of the Mergers & Acquisitions and the Tax Service Lines. Theodor Stuth was appointed as Director of Deloitte in 1999 and Partner in 2001. He has been working on a self-employed basis since 2008.

Udo J. Vetter was Managing Director of Vetter Injekt System GmbH & Co. KG between 1989 and 2003. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Vetter Group between 1999 and 2003. In 2004 he was appointed as Managing Partner of the UV-Cap GmbH & Co. KG private equity company. Since 2006 he has also been Managing Partner of the real estate holding MMC GmbH & Co. KG. In 2007 he joined the Advisory Board of Vetter Pharma Fertigung GmbH & Co. KG and since 2008 he has been Advisory Board Chairman. In 2007 he was appointed to the Vetter Executive Committee.
