The right way to apply it's simple!
Spelling mistakes and dog-ears? That's not how you'll impress the human resources department! A better idea: Address the essential points in a well-structured manner and arouse interest!
Mailing your cover letter and résumé isn't outdated yet, however, applying online is much easier, quicker, and clearer. Thus we highly recommend this form of application!
Online application
When applying online, you will use a structured online form to enter your data. There you will be asked about your schooling background and your work experience. You can customize the application by attaching personal documents. We require the following documents as attachments to process your application:
- Individual application cover letter
- Personal data sheet
- Copies of the two most recent report cards
If required, the human resources department will request additional documents. You can access your data at any time by using your password for editing or adding new attachments. Gerresheimer offers you the possibility to apply online. This is the way to the CareerCenter

Application by mail
For an ideal presentation of your abilities and prerequisites, we suggest using the online application form. If, however, you choose to apply by mail, the application must at least include the following documents:
- Individual application cover letter
- Personal data sheet
- Copies of the two most recent report cards
You can find information pertaining to the application periods for the individual courses under Apprenticeships
. However, this serves as a guideline: You should apply one year before the apprenticeship for the desired profession begins. When applying by mail, you should send the application directly to the specific location. You can find the corresponding contact data under Locations

How will my application be processed?
Once your application has reached us, whether by mail or online, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt either by mail or e-mail. Afterwards, the respective persons in charge at the individual locations will review the application. We will contact you by mail or phone depending on the selection process on location. Some locations conduct written aptitude tests, others conduct personal interviews. We will inform you as soon as we have decided on the filling of the job openings.
