The Life Science Research Division
In the field of Life Science Research, Gerresheimer offers a widely varied and specialized range of containers and systems fabricated from tubular glass or paste mould techniques (glass shaping process using a rotating mould (blowing process) to a form round and seamless piece of glassware) for research and development, analysis and general laboratory use. The product portfolio ranges from Erlenmeyer flasks to HPLC mobile phase systems. In addition to bottles, jars, pipettes and tubes of every type, the division produces distillation and filtration systems and homogenizers. Additionally numerous options for calibration, labeling and safety coating are offered to meet specific customer requirements.
Gerresheimer owns 51 per cent of the joint venture with Thermo Fisher Scientific for the brand Kimble Chase Life Science and Research Products LLC.
Reusable Laboratory Glassware
Reusable laboratory glassware is primarily used in research, test procedures and quality control. Examples for reusable laboratory glassware are beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, precision burettes, pharmaceutical graduates and cylinders.
Disposable Laboratory Glassware
Disposable glass articles are primarily used in test procedures, quality laboratories and the clinical health sector. Examples for disposable laboratory glassware are serological pipettes, culture tubes, chromatography vials and scintillation vials.
Special Laboratory Glassware
Special laboratory glassware is used in a large number of applications. Examples for special laboratory glassware are NMR tubes, chromatography columns and products for tissue preparation.
