The Plastic Systems Division: Medical Plastic Systems
Gerresheimer Medical Plastic Systems is an international acting development partner and injection molder for Medical Plastic Systems. From the first product concept to the delivery of the finished product, Gerresheimer Medical Plastic Systems performs all services: Product design, product development, engineering, moldmaking, automation engineering, large-series and small-series production (in clean-rooms if required) under FDA/GMP conditions, product finishing, manual, semi-automated and fully-automated assembly as well as packaging and logistics.
Six production sites in Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, USA, China and Brazil offer local manufacturing capacities. However, all important cross-sectional functions up to the high-volume production start of the product are summarized under the roof of our Technical Competence Centers in Germany and USA. This guarantees our customers the very highest product quality and a reduction of time to market.
Drug Delivery Systems
Drug delivery systems transport drugs precisely and rapidly into the body. They include plastic systems such as inhalers, pen systems and injection systems.
Diagnostic Systems
Gerresheimer produces disposables for various analysis systems in labs and directly in doctors’ practices, instant tests for patients in medical practices or hospitals and lancing devices and lancets for diabetics.
Medical Technology Products
Medical technology products include disposables and components for dialysis devices, home-care products, as well as invasive disposables and surgical devices made of plastics.
