Innovative packaging solutions for the Latin and South American market are presented by Gerresheimer at FCE Pharma in São Paulo
At FCE Pharma 2010 (May 25 to 27 at the Transamerica Expo Center) Gerresheimer presents a perfectly coordinated packaging and systems range. The innovative product spectrum comprises dropper vials, tablet containers and PET bottles as well as ampoules, vials, cartridges, prefillable all-glass syringes and for the first time plastic systems.
This annual international trade fair ranks as one of the most important venues for the pharma & healthcare industry in the region. Products from Gerresheimer Plásticos São Paulo, Gerresheimer Buenos Aires und Gerresheimer Querétaro are presented here together for the third time. ”Gerresheimer offers its Latin and South American pharma customers the advantages of local production combined with global expertise, says Jens Friis, Vice President Plastic Packaging for Gerresheimer in South America.
In the plastics field, packaging and application solutions are exhibited in a multiplicity of forms, materials and design variants. With this wide spectrum the product range covers all relevant types of solid and liquid medications. It is complemented by a richly varied choice of closures and application systems.
Also on display is a wide range of flint and amber tubular glass. The highlights of Mexican production which are exhibited in São Paulo range from glass category III to neutral glass of type I from vials, ampoules and cartridges to ready-to-fill disposable syringes.
In Brazil, Gerresheimer has two plants for standardized pharma- plastic packaging and one recently-added production facility for insulin pens.
