Dominik Elsner is one of the top 30 of the Regensburg Chamber of Commerce
An apprentice with Gerresheimer Wilden is again being honored by the Regensburg Chamber of Commerce among the Chamber's Best. Dominik Elsner, process mechanic for plastic and rubber technology, secured the prize for himself with an outstanding examination result of 95.1 points. This means that a Gerresheimer Wilden apprentice is now among the award winners for the fourth time in this apprenticeship vocation.
The select circle of the Chamber's Best was honored in the chapter room of the former monastery of Walderbach by State Secretary Markus Sackmann and Chamber of Commerce President Peter Esser. More than just a certificate awaited Dominik Elsner however. From Gerresheimer Wilden GmbH as the training company he additionally received a two-week USA trip as a personal prize. ”We are proud that one of our apprentices is again among the Chamber's Best”, said Manfred Baumann, Managing Director of Gerresheimer Wilden GmbH, congratulating the successful process mechanic. Through his outstanding performance Dominik Elsner also becomes a contender for the incentive prize awarded by the German Plastic Processing Industry Association (Gesamtverband Kunststoffverarbeitende Industrie e.V. GFK), with which the ten best Chamber prize winners in Germany are honored. Gerresheimer Wilden very nearly had a second member of the Chamber's Best this year: with an examination result of 94.9 points Tobias Zenger missed the target level by just a hair's breadth.
