All over the world, our production machines run 24/7 this is how we manufacture millions of medical plastic systems fast, cost-efficient and with reliable top quality. Our core competence is fully automatic large scale production as well as manual and semi-automatic production of small, complex and technically exacting systems made from many individual plastic parts and third-party components. In order to meet this challenge, we established production sites with a total of almost 30,000 sqm in Europe, Asia, Brazil and the US. Our customers benefit from the production capacity of 250 high-performance injection molding machines, ISO class 8 (100,000) clean-rooms with a total production area of almost 15,000 sqm and controlled areas with a total of almost 12,000 sqm.
Gerresheimer Medical Plastic Systems has more than thirty years of experience in clean-room production and offers not only clean-room capacities all over the world but also covers the complete clean-room production chain from injection molding, product finishing, assembly, testing right through to packaging. Automated quality inspections that are integrated into the production process and end-to-end documentation ensure that we meet the highest quality standards at all times.

Product finishing
- Laser labeling of inhaler housing
Gerresheimer's Medical Plastic Systems' Full Service strategy involves a lot more than 100% quality injection molding. It includes all downstream and post-production finishing applications as well as secondary processing from completion and component assembly and optical, tactile and functional finishing right through to sealing and packaging of ready-to-market systems.
As you would expect, we also decorate component surfaces according to your specifications. We also offer printing, laser labeling, metal plating, coating, sleeving and every other decoration method available on the market. Large-scale product finishing is subjected to the same quality requirements applied to the production of individual component assemblies: if required, we will integrate camera systems into the decoration line to ensure the immaculate quality and precise positioning of print images and labels. We will find a cost-efficient solution to your printing requirements.
We also fill clinical samples: Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH has a manufacturing license according to the German Medicines Act for secondary packaging during large-scale production and the for the production of clinical samples.
