Gerresheimer's Medical Plastic Systems ”technical heart” both in terms of product and process development. At the TCC, the entire product development process from initial conception right through to large-scale production is covered by means of simultaneous engineering. Engineers, technicians and specialists from product development, manufacturing equipment construction, project management, mold and special machine engineering, quality planning, pilot plant, product launch and industrialization work hand in hand. The TCC supplies customers with ready-to-market, feasibility-checked systems.
More than 200 people work at our Technical CompetenceCenters in Germany and the US with a total of more than 10,000 sqm. The Wackersdorf TCC operates its own ISO class 8 (100,000) clean-room with 200 sqm, an analysis laboratory and an inspection room with product-specific test equipment. Our plastics analysis laboratory is available for all analysis requirements that may arise during the development stage.
Established in 2009, the TCC in Peachtree City operates a mold service, a mold trial department with several injection molding machines, an analysis laboratory and a multi-functional laboratory. Both Technical CompetenceCenters in the US and in Germany cooperate closely.
