Gx InMonit™ is a customizable, reusable guidance and monitoring add-on for the Gx Inbeneo® and other autoinjectors. It reassures nervous patients by guiding them through self-injection via a unique integrated AMOLED screen and audible signals.
Gx InMonit™ also transforms an autoinjector into a connected solution for monitoring and reporting of injection events, transmitting data via cellular network. When integrated with our Gx AdheraLink™ AI-driven two-way messaging application, the combined ecosystem further enhances patient support and insights.
Autoinjectors are designed for simple independent use, but patients may still be nervous and insecure about self-injection, which could impact correct administration and adherence. Combining Gx InMonit™ with a customized version of our Gx AssuraLink™ AI-driven instant messaging application, provides patient-specific support before and after injection, and augments usage insights.
To begin, the patient places the reusable, rechargeable Gx InMonit™ on the top of the autoinjector for automatic activation. The first time that the add-on is charged and turned on it will initialize connection to a cellular network ready to sync data to a secure cloud-based portal.
When integrated with Gx AdheraLink™ advanced patient support, set-up is equally straightforward. The patient simply scans a QR code on the Gx InMonit™ screen and sends an instant message via their preferred messaging app such WhatsApp, iMessage, or Viber.
Gx InMonit™ not only reassures patients by guiding through their injection, it also confirms that they are injecting a correct, authentic drug. Through an embedded NFC tag under the autoinjector label the Gx InMonit™ can identify the medication, dose, expiry date, and autoinjector lot number. Once enrolled in Gx AdheraLink™, Gx InMonit™ can also confirm that the right drug is being taken at the right moment.

Reassurance with step-by-step guidance
Gx InMonit™ delivers visual guidance directly via the integrated AMOLED display with no need to connect to a mobile phone or app. Digital guidance reinforces a printed IFU via audible and visual prompts, alerts, and confirmation at each step of the injection process. Once confirmation of drug, dose, and lot number is complete, the addon begins 5 stages of guidance.

Gx InMonit™ automatically syncs administration data directly to the cloud via LTE-M/NB-IoT with no action needed by the patient. If there is no connection it saves to its internal memory and transmits when it is next connected. Data can be used by pharma companies to evaluate device performance and patient adherence.
