Düsseldorf, February 24, 2014 – Gerresheimer has been confirmed as one of Germany‘s best places to work in the Focus magazine’s survey of 20,000 employees. The representative survey implemented by Statista is special because it is based on the evaluations of 19,700 employees of all ages and at all hierarchical levels, plus 23,200 employer ratings on Kununu.

Düsseldorf, February 24, 2014 – Gerresheimer has been confirmed as one of Germany‘s best places to work in the Focus magazine’s survey of 20,000 employees. The representative survey implemented by Statista is special because it is based on the evaluations of 19,700 employees of all ages and at all hierarchical levels, plus 23,200 employer ratings on Kununu.

Gerresheimer AG, Düsseldorf
The Gerresheimer Group’s headquarters are in Düsseldorf. This is where the Management Board for the entire group and its more than 40 production facilities spanning the globe is based. Gerresheimer was named after the Düsseldorf district of Gerresheim where the company was founded over 150 years ago. It has been an MDAX-listed company since 2007.

Gerresheimer Bünde - the syringe specialists
Some 700 staff manufacture glass syringes for the pharmaceutical industry at the German production facility in Bünde. The syringes are used for applications such as heparin injections or influenza vaccinations.

Gerresheimer Essen, Lohr and Tettau – traditional molded glass competence
All of Gerresheimer’s German molded glass production facilities are tradition-steeped establishments. The Essen facility in the Ruhr region, the Lohr facility on the river Main and the Tettau facility in Upper Franconia have 1200 employees and manufacture over two billion molded glass products for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics every year.

Gerresheimer Regensburg – the plastics experts
Gerresheimer has around 1000 employees at its German sites in Regensburg, Pfreimd and Wackersdorf who manufacture high quality medical plastic products such as inhalers or insulin pens for famous pharmaceutical companies.

Gerresheimer Wertheim – ampoules
Wertheim is a southern-German business center and the largest manufacturing location in the Heilbronn-Franconia region. This is where Gerresheimer manufactures ampoules for liquid medications from tubular glass.
