Production Shift Supervisor

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities of colleagues engaged in the production process
  • Reviews operations of proceeding shift, including status of jobs and equipment, production schedules, job change requirements and availability of production materials needed
  • Checks for proper machine operation to ensure all equipment is running properly
  • Coordinates the training of new employees on all machines and processes
  • Adheres to all quality objectives and ensures quality standards are met
  • Maintains production records utilizing SAP for production monitoring and verifies accuracy.
  • Maintains time and attendance system functions for employee’s working on their designated shift including the tracking of employee attendance points
  • Ensures that employees comply with plant health, safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Management or Engineering preferred
  • Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Three years of experience in directing and supervising employees

Additional Information

Annual Salary $60,000 - $65,000
