Job Description
- Lead and develop the assigned segment both technically and disciplinarily to ensure achievement of agreed production targets related to quality, costs, and deadlines.
- Ensure effective management of day-to-day operations, meeting cost, deadline, and quality goals within the area of responsibility.
- Proactively monitor and regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with process optimization teams to enhance quality and productivity.
- Regularly compare and visualize production results at the shift level using performance boards and KPI reviews.
- Manage, guide, and develop subordinate employees by handling tasks such as performance management, ensuring each employee is deployed according to their qualifications.
- Provide motivating leadership and support to employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet their responsibilities.
- Conduct feedback sessions, absenteeism discussions, and return-to-work interviews.
- Initiate necessary actions such as recruitment, reassignments, exemptions, or disciplinary measures in accordance with labor laws.
- Actively participate in strategic and operational planning, including KST, CAPEX, and personnel budgets.
- Support and drive standardization and investment projects.
- Serve as the point of contact for audits and complaint processing, handling both internal and external complaints.
- Participate in error analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks with relevant departments, such as SCM, facility management, and repair teams.
Qualifications
- Completed at least 3 years of technical training, along with advanced qualifications (e.g., certified technician or technical business economist).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment (e.g., SCM, engineering, production, quality) with personnel management responsibilities in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in managing and controlling clocked production systems with inspection systems.
- Proven experience in leading employees within shift systems.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software and problem-solving methodologies.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of business management and production technologies.
- Strong facilitation and moderation skills.
- Ability to think and act in broader (entrepreneurial) contexts.
- Solid project management skills.
