Job Description
- Coordination and responsibility for the product-specific electronics design activities and investigations
- Perform complaint investigations, corrective and preventive actions and field investigation and activities in support of patient/customer safety.
- Drives the post-market development of the product electronics and the corresponding design changes, resulting from complaint investigation findings.
- Support in-market products through their product life cycle within a cross-functional project team.
- Show skills in the application of design controls and development processes
- Preparation and maintenance of product documentation according to regulatory and normative requirements
- Earliest start date for this position is on April 1st, 2023
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, electrical engineering FH/Uni/ETH or equivalent
- Several years of experience in specification, development, and test of electronics components in the field of embedded systems
- Several years of experience in product care / sustaining engineering
- Knowledge of executing complaint investigations and corrective and preventive actions
- Practical knowledge in hardware design of control systems using microcontrollers
- Systematic, quality-oriented, and well-documented working method
- Independent, solution-oriented, communicative team player who takes initiative
- Fluency in English and German
- Experience with medical devices
- Being familiar with the IEC 60601 standard series
