Maintenance Manager

Job Description

In this role you are leading and managing all maintenance programs for the site facilities as well as providing support and required actions in all safety related issues. In addition you will be the on-site manager for our upcoming construction work based on a site expansion.

  • Supervise Maintenance Supervisors and Techs to provide 24/7 coverage (PM & shifts).
  • Manage and continious improvement of the preventative maintenance program.
  • Report Maintenance Cost against Budget.
  • Develop yearly maintenance budgets.
  • Provide internal and external training for employees.
  • Specify scope for outside quotes.
  • Maintain and develop further planned maintenance programs for all infrastructures.
  • Interface with outside service contractors (HVAC pressurized Air, Chiller).
  • Oversee all relevant service contracts in place and define new ones.
  • Leading and coordinating of all construction measures.
  • Maintain and develop further planned programs for all injection molding & assembly machines and the corresponding infrastructure.
  • Interface with outside service contractors for types of machinery.
  • Suggest and implement productivity improvements for production equipment.
  • Coordinate all equipment changes and movement of machinery.
  • Offer support for the troubleshooting process of all technical issues with existing machines and follow an analytical approach.
  • Offer support of the troubleshooting process for all technical issues with existing equipment.
  • Maintain and develop further planned maintenance programs for building and property.
  • Interface with outside service contractors (lawn service, cleaning company, electrical supply).
  • Oversee all relevant service contracts.
  • Support continuous improvement and sustainment strategy of company safety program.
  • Support when interfacing with OSHA.
  • Strong involvement and participation with EHS.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree or equivalent technical experience related to mechanical engineering and maintenance.
  • 7 years of experience in a comparable role with managerial responsibility.
  • Knowledge of Medical or Food grade manufacturing facility (GMP)
  • Print reading skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
  • Knowledge in clean room technology.
  • Knowledge and experience with OSHA and applying safety regulations.
  • Knowledge in typical production infrastructure (HVAC, Pressurized air, Chiller Systems, Electric Power Supply, and other applicable systems).
  • Knowledge in Injection Molding & Assembly Processes (Presses, Dryers, Feeders, Molds).
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or MES production and maintenance tracking systems
