Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager will manage the demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control, and logistics functions within established guidelines and standards to produce on-time, high quality, low-cost product in a safe and clean environment.  Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.  Collaborates with operations team in planning and forecasting of customer orders to delivery due dates.  This role is responsible for orchestrating the development and implementation of strategies that will improve forecasting and reduce working capital while delivering excellent customer service.


  • Design and develop work streams for large scale capital investment programs that will enable profitable growth and multinational scalability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and team members to develop and implement a supply chain management capabilities roadmap for the business.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of system defects through the engagement of subject matter experts to remove constraints from optimal product flow.
  • Evaluate internal and external sourcing options to create a network within the defined annual operating plan cost structure for the business.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure operational continuity and minimize business disruption due to deviations in supply chain management processes.
  • Enhance order management processes and policies that drive standardized lead times, tier pricing strategies, and electronic data interchange.
  • Establish the replenishment strategy for all components within the supply chain to foster a pull versus push manufacturing system.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers; establish and monitor supplier performance metrics and resolving disputes with business partners.
  • Identify methodologies that will drive the growth and innovation, as well as social and ecological sustainability, goals of our corporate strategy.
  • Coach and support manufacturing locations logistics team members for purposes of enhancing professional development.
  • Development of a multi-site scheduling system and implementation.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.     



  • Undergraduate degree in either Business or Engineering or Information Technology preferred.
  • Notable Supply Chain Management accomplishments in either the Life Sciences or Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical or Automotive industries.
  • Substantial experience in product optimization flow within either the Life Sciences or Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical or Automotive industries.
  • Detailed knowledge of market-leading customer supply chain management tools to improve demand forecasting, production planning, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to hear the Voice of the Customer and align feedback with company initiatives and goals.
  • Displayed proficiency in navigating ambiguous environments, understand existing and new markets, and achieving customer satisfaction targets.
