As a (Junior) Manager / Specialist Operational Excellence, you can make a significant contribution to our goals and empower your colleagues to do the same.

  • You will support the central function of Group EHS CSR OPEX in the strategic design and continuous development of the global Operational Excellence program and its operational implementation in our international sites
  • You support the analysis, evaluation, and benchmarking of Opex KPIs and use them to identify focus areas
  • You will participate in the regular Lean Maturity Assessments and the subsequent workshops on our sites
  • You support the conception and implementation of practical and shopfloor-oriented trainings in the sites to develop the systematic problem-solving skills of our employees
  • You will supervise multiple standardization projects with experts from different business units
  • You will support and take personal responsibility for the conception, planning, coordination, implementation, continuous development, and documentation of
    • Standards and processes
    • Lean Maturity Assessments
    • Training and workshops
    • Internal Opex conferences
    • Opex Awards
  • You will increase the Opex understanding and knowledge throughout the organization with training, communication / information and awareness campaigns

Qualifications

  • You have a completed degree with a focus in engineering or a related field
  • You have at least two years of experience in a comparable position or consulting with a focus on the design and implementation of Lean Management and Continuous Improvement programs in a manufacturing environment
  • You have generalist knowledge with in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following topics: Operational Excellence principles, Lean Manufacturing principles, process mapping, and analysis, systematic problem solving, shopfloor audits, and assessments
  • You have basic knowledge and initial experience in change management and the role of a trainer
  • You are convincing in the preparation of analyses and reports for various decision-making bodies
  • Anticipating trends and developing innovative concepts and ideas are among your strengths
  • You are business fluent in German and fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • You are willing to travel internationally for up to 50%
