Program Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

The Program Manager is responsible for planning and driving each project to its successful conclusion by ensuring that its scope is well defined, and resource estimates and project schedules are specified and appropriate to the project.  The Program Manager organizes and leads activities to ensure completion of the projects on schedule, within budget constraints, and quality that exceeds customer’s expectations.

  • Develops and implements strategies and tactics to maximize market growth penetration in targeted markets.
  • Continually gathers and monitors information on competition and market trends; communicates information to sales team and others as needed.
  • Manages preparation of sales proposals and tools; provides sales presentations as needed.
  • Formulates, implements, and monitors sales goals and strategies; develops and manages all pricing and programming plans.
  • Creates and actively manages the development of specific sales plans pertinent to specific lines of business and accounts as necessary to reach objectives, profitable growth, and market share/image enhancement.
  • Coordinates with marketing manager, general manager, and other appropriate managers to plan, revise, and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinates with marketing, communications, and other appropriate departments/ managers to assist in the communications and media efforts to enhance the company’s image.
  • Forecasts sales, monitors results, and reports on effectiveness of sales staff activities; prepares and monitors sales budget.
  • Lead control, pricing, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares and monitors sales budget/forecast.
  • Possesses and maintains knowledge of the medical device industry and product and sales information.
  • Coordinates team strategic sales meetings.
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
  • Attends and participates in business/trade events as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Domestic and International travel required up to 75%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. /B. S.) in related field or equivalent.
  • Four to six years’ experience in the medical device industry or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Well-developed negotiation, project, and account management skills.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
