Job Description
- Independently configure, operate, and maintain MES/ERP applications, ensuring smooth functionality across the system or designated parts.
- Support the evaluation, selection, and customization of new production applications to meet business needs.
- Implement required adjustments during live operations, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal system performance.
- Integrate new systems into the existing infrastructure, including configuring input forms, installing patches, setting up users, and managing access rights.
- Provide user support, including conducting training, offering consulting services, and leading communication initiatives.
- Plan and execute organizational system adjustments, working closely with relevant departments to design configurations, manage migrations (including database transfers), and validate concepts in test environments.
- Develop and implement a monitoring strategy, complete with checklists and assigned responsibilities for problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot system issues independently or escalate them to appropriate teams for resolution.
- Ensure consistent system communication to all stakeholders, promoting system updates and changes to prevent potential issues.
- Generate reports and support reporting needs for various departments.
- Develop and implement data backup strategies and failure recovery plans in line with security and quality management standards.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality through rigorous system oversight and management.
- Manage user access and authorization, maintaining directory services and ensuring secure operations.
- Provide ongoing user support, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Establish and utilize a standardized evaluation framework (e.g., REFA/MTM) to track system-related work and ensure connectivity with integrated systems.
- Create automated production KPI reports focused on workforce efficiency and operational performance.
- Design and optimize process workflows using visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar working environment.
- Expertise in production planning, master data management, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Extensive knowledge in the application, design, and development of production-related IT systems, including SAP and MES, as well as related peripheral systems.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT project management, covering the full project lifecycle from conception to implementation.
- Proven track record of 2-3 years in process modeling, with a focus on optimizing production processes.
- Solid experience in manufacturing processes, materials management, supply chain management (SCM), and lean methodologies.
- Familiarity with tactical personnel planning within production environments and production control strategies.
