Düsseldorf, March 04, 2014 - Glass and plastic prefilled syringes are modern yet complex drug delivery systems that are becoming increasingly significant in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, which is why demand for them is rising. Gerresheimer's experts will be presenting their portfolio of glass and plastic pharmaceutical products at the Pharma Congress (booth 24), which takes place on March 25 and 26 at the Swissôtel Düsseldorf/Neuss.
Gerresheimer is famous for its Gx RTF (Ready-to-Fill) glass syringes. The prefillable glass syringes can be fitted with Luerlock or Luercone needles. They are supplied to pharmaceutical customers with optional baked-on siliconization and accessories such as plunger heads, plungers and back stops as bulk or sterilized ready-to-fill products.
The ClearJect syringes are manufactured by Japanese company Taisei Kako Co. Ltd. in COP (cyclic olefin polymer). This range of syringes completes the Gerresheimer portfolio of high quality primary packaging products for the pharma market. Gerresheimer is responsible for technical customer advisory services and the marketing of ClearJect TasPack syringe systems in Europe and America.
