Gerresheimer is showcasing impressive effects with labeling and digital printing at CosmeticBusiness in Munich and Packaging Première in Milan

Düsseldorf/Munich/Milan, May 23, 2019. A good brand stands out thanks to its individuality. Anyone who wants to add fresh accents to ensure the unique character of their brand with new effects on glass bottles and jars should take a good look at the new options now available with labeling and digital printing at Gerresheimer’s booths at CosmeticBusiness in Munich and Packaging Première in Milan.

“It’s interesting that, alongside very striking optical effects, we can also achieve fascinating tactile effects with labeling and digital printing,” says Bernd Stauch, Director Sales Europe. He explains that Gerresheimer has expanded its decoration units at its plants in the Belgian town of Momignies and the German town of Tettau, which specialize in the production of glass packaging for cosmetics. According to Stauch, the aim is reduce the number of work processes on the filling line by a further step for international customers.

Gerresheimer’s range includes perfume bottles for fragrances, deodorant sprays and roll-ons, cream pots for facial care, and nail varnish bottles. The plants are also equipped with their own design and mould workshop as well as a decoration department. Here, glass products can be finished using techniques such as screen printing, pad printing, digital printing, hot stamping, color spraying, acid etching and labeling, among others. For further embellishment techniques such as metalization, sandblasting, and lasering, Gerresheimer works with selected specialist companies

Gerresheimer will be present at Packaging Première at the Fiera Milano on the stand E46/48 from May 28 to 30 and at Cosmetic Business at the MOC Munich on the 5th and 6th of June at the E06 booth in Hall 4.
