Tettau - Alexanderhütte, July 29, 2014. Gerresheimer Tettau invited the new apprentices and students to visit the plant for an information event at the end of the school year.

“We organized the Open House Day so that the parents could find out where and how their children would be training over the next few years,“ said Ingbert Löffler, who provided the families with detailed information about the Gerresheimer Group and the significance of Gerresheimer Tettau at the event.

“I’m delighted you’ve decided to do your apprenticeship at Gerresheimer,“ said Uwe W. Zipfel, thanking his new colleagues who are about to embark on a new phase of their lives in an training environment. During the apprenticeship they will have new rights, wishes and interests, all of which are supported and represented by the company's works council. The works council also helps employees out if they have any problems or issues that need resolving.

“The first few days are always the most difficult because the apprentices are still unfamiliar with their new workplace. That’s why they get an information pack containing all kinds of information to make their lives a little easier in their initial weeks of work,“ said Sabine Müller from HR, handing out the “Welcome Pack“.

The theoretical part of the event was followed by a tour of the production facility and an informal chat. Ingbert Löffler told participants about the pleasant aspects of working at Gerresheimer, such as Christmas and holiday bonuses, Christmas gifts and all the other benefits.

Once the snacks had been served and consumed, the parents set off home, safe in the knowledge that their children are in good hands at Gerresheimer.
