Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The g graduate program is designed to prepare recent college and university graduates for future leadership roles within either Centor, Inc. or Gerresheimer Glass, Inc. or Gerresheimer Peachtree City, L.P. The g graduate program provides participants with broad exposure through a combination of formal training and the completion of assigned projects. The g graduate program exposes participants to a variety of challenging work environments, across several disciplines; and includes mentorship from a department leader, throughout the assignment. The g graduate program facilitates the acquisition of the skills and competencies necessary to assume progressively more complex responsibilities, so that the participant can contribute to the continued profitable growth of the Company.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops the knowledge and abilities needed in order to qualify for advancement to a designated position within the business operation.
- Utilizes learning programs to further operational knowledge of the function and commercial enterprise, in order to satisfy the organizational mission.
- Leverages data and tools to formulate potential solutions, which positively impact efforts to achieve the annual operating plan.
- Conduct research on various laws, regulations, policies and practices and recommend improvements that are based upon the findings .
- Networks with managers and supervisors to understand the decision making process that leads to proper execution of the strategic plan operational plan.
- Reviews, analyzes, and models existing business processes in order to uncover insights and project future trends.
- Composes informational documents and presentations on select topics and formulates alternatives regarding the identified business challenges.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships and rapport with internal colleagues and external partners.
- Completes and presents capstone project at the conclusion of the g graduate program.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred.
- Ability to combine knowledge and expertise from diverse areas in new/unique ways to solve problems.
- Insightful analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways.
- Willingness to hear the Voice of the Customer and align feedback with Company initiatives and goals.
- Desire to navigate ambiguous environments, develop existing and new markets, and achieve revenue targets.
Additional Information
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 20%.
- Ability to engage multiple projects simultaneously, with a degree of independence.
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply the Gerresheimer Management System.
- Capable of autonomous work in dynamic business environments.
