Job Description

Further development of the Data Analytics / Data Management / Business Intelligence area with the aim of generating added value and business insights for the Molded Glass business unit
Development, implementation and maintenance of ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and other Azure-based tools in close coordination with the Gerresheimer Data Science Center
Transfer / optimization of existing evaluations into suitable standardized and automated solutions with a focus on data modeling
Develop and optimize data models to enable efficient data access and analysis
Integration of various data sources and databases to ensure a consistent and reliable database (such as S4 HANA, other internal data sources, external data, and much more)
Design and implementation of data pipelines and the underlying data architecture
Implementation of mechanisms to monitor and improve data quality and consistency, including error detection and correction (metadata management)
Implementation of artificial intelligence/machine learning use cases and projects in close cooperation with the Gerresheimer Data Science Center

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, or related fields
Sound technical knowledge and experience (ideally) working with relevant Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Azure, SQL/DWH/Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure DevOps
Experience in dealing with big data, data modeling, and data processing is essential
Knowledge of a programming language such as Python
Ideally, knowledge of the data structures in ERP - SAP FI/CO/MM/SD as well as the technical processes of a production company
Ideally, experience with BI tools such as Power BI is beneficial.
Fluent in English
