Job Description
- Developing and implement sales strategy for strategic customers to enhance profitable growth and market share for the tubular glass and moulded glass product portfolios in North America.
- Identify and communicate internally new market requirements through translating customer needs and gathering an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and business priorities.
- Leverage business development and functional expertise to build addressable market and increased pipeline development in strategic areas for growth.
- Develop strong internal relationships with stakeholders across the business to provide ongoing advisory support and market insight regarding opportunities and risks to achieve strategic goals.
- Conduct evaluation of customer potential and develop business account plans to achieve complete penetration of multiple product categories while expanding sales and profitable growth with the customer.
- Develop and execute a strategy for growing our fleet business leveraging your experience of the fleet market and customer requirements.
- Formulate sales strategy by determining sales projections and performance goals that are consistent with achieving all of the strategic account sales and marketing objectives.
- Conduct market research to remain familiar with industry trends and competitive activity in the marketplace and within the customer.
- Network externally to provide competitive insight, identify inorganic growth or strategic partnership opportunities, and establish informed perspectives on applicable innovation and emerging trends.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in either Business or Engineering or Life Sciences preferred.
- Notable accomplishments in either the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industries within the area of Business Development.
- Substantial experience in Business Development within either the Life Sciences or Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Detailed knowledge of market-leading research and development management tools to improve product portfolio offerings that demonstrate consumer insight.
- Demonstrated ability to hear the Voice of the Customer and align feedback with company initiatives and goals.
- Displayed proficiency in navigating ambiguous environments, developing existing and new markets, and achieving revenue targets.
Additional Information
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 40%.
- Ability to travel domestically within the United States.
- Capable of autonomous work in remote business environments.
