Embedding sustainability across structures, processes, and responsibilities
We are convinced that strong anchoring and a clear focus on sustainability are key to positioning ourselves as a future-ready company. This requires interdisciplinary and cross-divisional collaboration.
Our sustainability governance is driven by a cross-functional Sustainability Council, established in 2020 and chaired by the CFO. Meeting quarterly, the Council brings together representatives from business units and central functions to coordinate the implementation of our global sustainability strategy, track progress, set priorities, and align company-wide positions on strategic, operational, and regulatory sustainability topics.
Operational responsibility lies with Group Sustainability, which reports directly to the CFO and is supported by Sustainability Managers across our business areas. Progress against our targets is systematically monitored through a central reporting system that integrates sustainability and financial metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization.
