Gerresheimer Lohr GmbH in Germany develops and produces packaging glass for the consumer healthcare sector (dropper and syrup bottles or tablet jars) as well as chemical and laboratory bottles for globally operating companies in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries with around 400 employees under the strictest hygiene and clean-room conditions. In addition, packaging solutions in amber and clear glass for the leading market players in the food and beverage industry are also developed and produced at the site. In addition to beer bottle specialties, these include other beverage and spirit bottles as well as spice and instant glasses, for example, and oil, wort or sauce bottles. The catalogued range currently comprises several hundred standard shapes and a large number of customer-specific shapes.
