Junior HR Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support various HR functions within our manufacturing operations. As a Junior HR Generalist, you will play a key role in assisting with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other HR activities specific to the manufacturing environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in HR within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment efforts for manufacturing positions, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation processes for new manufacturing employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide support in administering HR policies and procedures, including attendance tracking, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns related to HR matters, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing responsible to address employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs for manufacturing employees to support their development and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing environment, is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of basic HR principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and adapt to the manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to the success of the HR team and manufacturing operations.
