Labratory Engineer

Job Description

Work hands-on at the front of Medical Devices developing innovative micromechanical dispensing systems such as wearable and programmable micropumps.
Plan, execute and perform tests and experiments for characterization and design verification of micromechanical dispensing systems
Evaluate and report tests and results with fidelity towards project teams, notified bodies, and patients.
Development and qualification of test setups and methods
Work in interdisciplinary project teams in the field of Medical Device Development
Comply with quality standards to develop safe and high quality micropumps for patients worldwide
Help to optimize processes and maintain laboratory and laboratory equipment in pristine condition

Qualifications

A degree in the field of mechatronic/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a degree in biotechnology or chemistry/chemical engineering. Other educations with proven focus on technology and hands-on laboratory record are considered too.
First experiences in measurement and test engineering, micromechanics, pneumatics, microfluidics, actuators and sensors
Experience with programming of LabView and Teststand or similar is an advantage
Organizational talent and hands-on mentality
Good language skills in English (written and spoken).
