Job Description
The Selectors and Re-Selectors are responsible for maintaining line production.
Responsibilities:
- Discard or reject defect products from production line.
- Recycle all defect products back into production.
- Maintain light station, discarding visible defects in 20 minutes increments.
- Maintain production line movement.
- Maintain clean rails and surrounding work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.
- Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.
- Ability to work rotating shifts: 24-7-365.
- Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.’s.
- Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.
Additional Information
This position is a swing shift and is as follows:
- 7am - 3pm (5 days on 2 days off)
- 3pm - 11pm (5 days on 2 days off)
- 11pm - 7am (5 days on 1 ½ days off)
