Job Description

The Selectors and Re-Selectors are responsible for maintaining line production.

Responsibilities:

Discard or reject defect products from production line.
Recycle all defect products back into production.
Maintain light station, discarding visible defects in 20 minutes increments.
Maintain production line movement.
Maintain clean rails and surrounding work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.
Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.
Ability to work rotating shifts: 24-7-365.
Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.’s.
Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.

Additional Information

This position is a swing shift and is as follows:

7am - 3pm (5 days on 2 days off)
3pm - 11pm (5 days on 2 days off)
11pm - 7am (5 days on 1 ½ days off)
