Expert Intralogistics

Job Description

  • Implementation and further development of  factory planning for series start-ups, project expansions, transfer projects and efficiency improvement measures (e.g. technology, methods, processes, project-related and cross-location), with a focus on intralogistics planning
  • Define technical standardization for production resources and planning processes, with a focus on intralogistics processes and equipment
  • Conceptualize, evaluate and implement innovation projects and technology steps, with a focus on intralogistics processes
  • Defining and ensuring the realization of technical specifications (appropriate to the respective application)
  • Adherence to project schedules and cost targets for supervised work package (if necessary, presentation and adherence to individual targets via annual employee appraisals or departmental target definitions)
  • Partially responsible for the creation and administration of plant-related staging and storage requirement overviews
  • Technical offer review, offer comparisons, cost-benefit analyses, design approvals and technical acceptances
  • Participation in the simulation of intralogistics processes to optimize provisioning and storage space requirements (e.g. bottlenecks and required buffers)
  • Participation in the qualification of intralogistics systems in accordance with applicable SOPs
  • Partially responsible standardization of required project-related and cross-project planning processes according to lean aspects (e.g. requirement and functional specifications, overviews, calculations, process steps, standard values, graphical representations in layouts CAD)
  • Partially responsible processing of global equipment standards in the area of responsibility (with work steps such as: Definition of equipment, test and pilot phases, interfaces, documentation, releases, training, updates)

Qualifications

  • This function requires specialist knowledge, as acquired in the context of a (technical) university degree, e.g. technical or economic (with preferred specializations such as mechatronics, plastics technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, medical technology) including a degree and extended by at least 2 years of professional experience (preferably in industry):
  • 2-3 years' experience in a technical environment, focus areas: Intralogistics, production planning, project management
  • 2-3 years' experience with manufacturers and service providers for intralogistics solutions
  • 2-3 years' experience with automation technology and data networking in logistics processes (e.g. warehouse systems and management, transport systems, AGVs)
  • 2-3 years' experience in the optimization and documentation of logistics processes
  • 2-3 years' experience in working with ERP (e.g. SAP) and MES (e.g. Guardus)
  • IT skills (e.g. MS Office + Excel + PowerPoint), VBA programming Excel desirable
  • Knowledge of the process of product start-ups, product transfers and change management
  • Knowledge of the validation of medical and pharmaceutical products
  • Willingness to travel
