Through our People & Organization (P&O) strategy, we continue to create an environment where employees feel empowered, supported, and valued driving innovation and sustainable growth.

From Human Resources to People & Organization: Evolving our culture

Our ongoing transformation from Human Resources to People & Organization (P&O) reflects our shift to a holistic approach that emphasizes the potential of our people and the performance of our organization. In 2024, we expanded leadership and talent programs, fostered diversity, and integrated new solutions to support our employees and drive innovation.

This evolution highlights our commitment to fostering a culture that encourages collaboration, development, and success at every level of the organization.

Diversity and Inclusion: A culture of belonging

We believe that diversity and equal opportunities are essential for our success. Our initiatives, such as "formula WE," and the dedicated “WE Grow”, a personal development program for female professionals, focus on women empowerment (WE) and fostering a more inclusive work environment. With employees from more than 78 nations, Gerresheimer thrives on the strength of different perspectives and experiences.

Our goal is to build a leadership culture that reflects the diversity of our global workforce and continues to create opportunities for growth and representation.

Health and Safety: Protecting what matters most

The health and safety of our employees are at the heart of our operations and a cornerstone of our values. We aim to provide a safe and secure work environment where everyone can contribute their best and return home safely every day.

In 2024, we continued to advance our safety culture through initiatives like the global Occupational Safety Week, focusing on "Safety in Troubleshooting", and by strengthening collaboration within our Occupational Safety Council. Across all sites we implemented awareness campaigns and initiated local activities, for example interactive training sessions and real-world safety demonstrations, making safety a shared responsibility.

We also introduced new systems and tools to identify and address potential risks more effectively, ensuring continuous improvement in safety standards. Our focus remains on building a proactive safety mindset and engaging every employee to foster a culture of vigilance and accountability.

Leadership and development: Empowering future potential

Investing in our employees is a cornerstone of our strategy. Initiatives such as "Leadership Touchdown" and "Leading with Heart & Mind" have been instrumental in equipping leaders at all levels with the skills needed for today’s challenges.

High-potential programs like "formula Operational Lead" and "formula GT" ensure a robust talent pipeline for critical roles, while our "WE Grow" initiative empowers female employees to enhance their influence and visibility within the company. The rollout of our global "Upstart Program" in 2025 will further expand opportunities for employees navigating their career paths.
