Job Description

As Process Engineer Injection Molding you are responsible for the process development and qualification of our mold assets following Gerresheimer’s SOP and procedures

Execution of initial functional testing of injection molds
Development of injection molding processes with help of scientific techniques
Preparation, execution and analysis of experimental designs (DoE)
Accurate documentation of the complete processing phase
Execution of final qualification runs in production environment (clean room)
Participation in mold testing at external vendors

Qualifications

High School / College Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating with a variety of injection molding machines and injection molds
Experience working with different kind of resins
Deep understanding of injection molding process and technology
Experience with scientific molding approach
Experience in problem solving and trouble shooting of processes
Master Molder I / II qualification
Experience working in a hands-on environment with constant interaction with mold technicians, quality engineers and metrologists
MS Office experience
First experience with statistical software MiniTab preferable
