Quality Control Associate

Job Description

Perform inspection on parts for proper configuration using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).  Overall responsibility for determining the configuration of manufactured parts meet the dimensional require as stated on drawings, models and/or inspection programs.

Qualifications

Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice

Works well in a fast-paced operational environment with constant interaction with operators, technicians and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret part drawings, mainly plastic hard trim parts.

Able to support the Production with verification and assistance (as applicable) inspecting critical dimensions.

Knowledge of handheld measuring devices such as Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Blocks, Height Gauges, etc.

Able to complete assigned task in a timely manner.

Able to assist production in problem solving and trouble shooting of processes and process equipment.  

Knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensions & Tolerance (GD&T).

Good interpretation of mechanical and process.

 Excellent verbal communication skills.

 Experience working in Microsoft products. Excel, Word, Power Point.

Required to speak, read, write and understand English language.

 Knowledge of SPC.

Able to work under minimum supervision.

Additional Information

MUST be able to work 12 hour NIGHT Shift on a 2:2:3 pattern  (6:45pm-7:15am)
