Job Description

  • By being responsible for leading the digital innovation portfolio you play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital solutions, products, and services. In short, you define “what to build” and lead the project execution plans.
  • For this, you lead a team of Digital Solution Leads and Product Owners. Your team will work closely with our disease leads and the technology team to transform ideas and concepts into executable projects and finally market-ready digital health solutions. With your team you ensure progress and structured execution of all projects in the portfolio along the entire innovation process.
  • You are part of the Gerresheimer’s Digital Hub leadership team and assume shared responsibility for the success of our digital solutions. Together you shape the Digital Hub’s strategy and goals.
  • You define and implement processes and key metrics to guide our innovation projects from ideation to market maturity. You take the lead on organizing and moderating the weekly portfolio meetings in order to ensure a proper application of innovation methods (e.g. strategyzer) and ensure agile progress in projects. You report progress of all projects in the portfolio to top management in regular strategy workshops.
  • You oversee and guide project management, budget planning and allocation as well as the right team setup including external development partners
  • As part of the Digital Hub leadership team, you are involved in potential M&A and due diligence processes
  • Bring in your expertise when it comes to commercialization strategies, negotiations with partners and quantitative Business cases
  • Build bridges between a wide range of stakeholders within all Gerresheimer business units

Qualifications

  • You are a fast thinker that loves reducing lots of information to the essentials in order to take decisions
  • You can quickly switch contexts and have the ability to grasp details while never losing the big picture
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing new business models, e.g. in the role of a product manager, business analyst, product owner or similar with a track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products
  • Strong team management skills and hands-on mentality, with experience in building and leading a high-performing teams based on purpose
  • Strong expertise in the field of innovation methods and business model creation (corporate innovation, startup or consulting)
  • Relevant certificate(s) or education in agile software development and agile requirements engineering / business analytics / product ownership
  • To perform in our startup-like environment you need a strong entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and the willingness to take responsibility beyond your main tasks
  • You enjoy communication with different stakeholders incl. C-level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and preferably in German
