Job Description
This role is the technical project lead of the whole operational product life cycle for all production related topics related to a specific customer.
- Main contact for one customer related to a defined product during series production for all technical issues and general issues (e.g. capacity expansion, relocations, etc.)
- Exchange of all project plans (technical and scheduling) with global Operational Excellence team
- Forward quantity scenarios between customer and PM to OPEX/FM and technically discuss consequences.
- Organization of a technical meeting between Molds, Automation and Injection Molding
- Coordination of CAPEX requirements and invest related changes to regular budget monitoring with plant management
- Overall responsible technical management, control and monitoring of the customer facing teams in the defined product area, especially the product owner operations as well as the changing expert teams in coordination with the executives (e.g. in the context of relocation projects, new projects, customer complaints, escalations and change requests)
- Representation of corporate and customer interests, taking corporate strategy into account
- Targeted and trustful cooperation with internal and external interfaces (e.g. production areas, TS, CS, plant management, TCC/SEC and especially the customer)
- Participation in customer audits
- Independent compliance with standards, legal provisions and internal regulations
Qualifications
- Knowledge acquired during at least 3 years training on the job (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) and developed through at least seven years of experience in a comparable position
- Advanced specialist knowledge in the areas of production and project & process management
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. products and processes)
- Expert knowledge of process data management
- In-depth knowledge of IT applications (e.g. MS Office, MES, QM system)
- Expert knowledge of customer relationship management in a technical environment
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methods
- Very high performance and design motivation
- Very high action orientation, conscientiousness and flexibility
- Technical leadership motivation
- Excellent understanding of the creation of technical reports (executive summary)
- Excellent moderation and presentation skills
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
- Basic knowledge in the area of problem-solving methods (KT, Six Sigma, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of conflict management methods
