Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, performs a variety of pre-determined inspection techniques to determine and maintain quality of ware

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job effectively an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner - with or without reasonable accommodation.

·         Checks quality of processed ware by gauging techniques and visual inspection.

·         Records quality data and related information using statistical process control methods

·         Interprets blueprints and written specifications necessary to adjust equipment to obtain required quality with tolerances and ensure proper recording

·         Complete all associated paperwork requirements

·         Assists in maintaining departmental blueprint files and job information cards

·         Supports QMS and GMS initiatives

·         Demonstrates behavior that meets Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements

·         Behavioral Attributes; Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, Innovation and Teamwork

·         Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job.

·         High School Diploma or Equivalent

·         Prior Quality Control Inspection experience
