Job Description
Ensuring the availability of production equipment and measuring systems in production operations, including the commissioning of new plants to ensure production in terms of quantity and quality.
- Shift repair service, ability to analyze errors, carry out conversions and work on new buildings in the production area
- Carrying out repairs and improvements (plant optimization) with the aim of improving product quality
- Maintenance and construction of electronic facilities
- New construction and commissioning of production lines
- Repair and optimization work on existing lines
- Conversions and conversions
- Maintenance and repair of production facilities.
- Testing, correction of IPC measuring systems
- Projectwork according to specification.
Qualifications
Knowledge acquired as part of a 3-year technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronics engineer, mechanic, etc.) and has been expanded by at least 3 years of experience in a comparable function in the maintenance environment.
- Familiar with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal; Allen Bradly RS Logix 5000 and Studio 5000; as well as Factorytalk software platforms
- Strong understanding of PLC Network Architecture with a variety of communication methods, such as Genius, SRTP, Ethernet Global Data, Profinet, and Modbus
- Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation including one line and three-line schematic diagrams as well as ladder logic diagrams to troubleshoot and modify existing software programs.
- Provide diagnostic technical expertise related to Programmable Logic Controls, Human Machine Interface controls, control functions and associated hardware.
- Work with process/product engineering and maintenance to make necessary changes to equipment for improvements, system upgrades, preventative procedures, product changes, and new product launches including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control.
- Maintains the upkeep of process control computers, software licensing agreements, and backups of software files to minimize the downtime of manufacturing equipment
