Working Student in Corporate Human Resources
"Theories become insignificant in your everyday work - practice is what counts."
With Gerresheimer since: 2011
Educational qualification: Master of Science with HR specialization
In the winter of 2011/ 2012 I was looking for a new and challenging internship for the vacation. Supporting the global roll-out of the Vision, Mission, Values HR development project at Gerresheimer was precisely what I was looking for.
After an exciting, educational and interesting two months, I didn’t want to leave headquarters again. So I stayed on as a working student. My colleagues have always allowed me to take on responsibility, I learn new things every day and I can supplement the theory that we learn at university with very valuable experience.
I’ve worked in employer branding projects and Gerresheimer Management System projects (train-the-trainer concept). I also support the department staff in operational tasks such as the organization, communication and documentation of training measures.
My best experience at Gerresheimer was writing my master thesis as part of the Employer Branding Project. It gave me the opportunity to implement a German-wide survey on the subject of employer attractiveness. My colleagues, who motivate me every day, are another positive aspect about my job. In addition to gaining a great deal of useful career experience over the last few months, I’ve also been lucky enough to have the best colleagues in the world.
