Job Description

  • Make the difference as the disciplinary leader of a talented team of 5 electronics development engineers. Be the inspiring force behind the electronics development of cutting-edge smart patch pumps, ensuring innovation, state of the art electronics, and long-term reliability.
  • Foster an optimal and motivating work environment for your team. Provide support in all aspects of their work, ensuring tools, training, resources allocation and working conditions that allow highest productivity.
  • Showcase exceptional communication, mediation, and people knowledge skills. Promote a collaborative and inclusive environment within your team and across departments, enhancing teamwork and ensuring effective information flow.
  • As a true leader, actively participate in projects either as a technical project leader or an electronics development engineer. Your expertise, particularly in embedded systems and low-power electronics for infusion systems, will shape the success of our innovative projects.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence to standard operating procedures within the electronics development team. Support the team and ensure that all processes are documented, optimized, and consistently followed, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our projects.
  • Manage and enhance our electronics lab, ensuring it remains a hub for innovation and experimentation. Facilitate an environment where your team can explore, prototype, and test the latest electronic solutions for our smart patch pumps.
  • Join forces with the management team of the development department and establish a strong network with heads from system, software, and mechanics development departments. Together, we establish a collaboration that promotes our innovation. Furthermore, establish a strong connection with our electronics manufacturing services companies. Cultivate partnerships that enhance our capabilities and streamline production processes

Qualifications

  • Hold an engineering degree (FH/ETH) in electronics, mechatronics, or similar fields.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics development within the medical device industry coupled with a leading position.
  • Keen sense of quality and cost awareness, ensuring excellence in all aspects of product development.
  • Be confident, solution-oriented, and communicative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Showcase excellent oral and written language skills in both English and German.
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a wealth of experience to contribute to the continued success of our company
