Job Description

Role

  • By being responsible for leading the drug delivery product portfolio, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of our own-IP product portfolio. Together with the digital solution team and the Gerresheimer primary packaging units, you will create cross Business Unit offerings
  • This role includes both the strategic planning as well as the operational management of our current Pump and Autoinjector product portfolio. On the top of our current offerings, you define and execute the the future growth strategy of our own-IP portfolio. This may include M&A activities, the creation of new partnerships or licensing agreements
  • Your team owns the P/L responsibility for our products, which includes both customer specific and internal development projects. As a basis of a successful P/L management, you define the business plans for each product and execute on them along the entire product life cycle from ideation through product launch until managing the product once in market
  • A key responsibility of your work is the clear definition of the product requirement. This requires deep market expertise in the field of drug delivery devices and technology trends. Therefore, you will closely collaborate with opinion leaders as well as plan and execute user interviews and usability studies. In-depth and continuous market/competition analysis and trend studies represent another important part of your work
  • Together with the sales team you define the product USP and support in customer offerings
  • You oversee and guide product management, budget planning and allocation as well as the right team setup including external partners
  • Bring in your expertise when it comes to commercialization strategies, negotiations with partners and quantitative business cases
  • Build bridges between a wide range of stakeholders within all Gerresheimer business units

Qualifications

Profile

  • You are a fast thinker that loves reducing lots of information to the essentials in order to take decisions
  • You can quickly switch contexts and have the ability to grasp details while never losing the big picture
  • University degree in business studies, medicine, engineering, physics or a related subject
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the field of drug delivery devices
  • Competent and professional appearance towards customers and partners with strong presentations skills
  • Team management skills and hands-on mentality, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams based on purpose
  • To perform in our environment, you need a strong entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and the willingness to take responsibility beyond your main tasks
  • You enjoy communication with different stakeholders incl. C-level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and preferably in German
