Human Resource Generalist

Job Description

  • Review timesheets, code in HRIS, and submit to payroll for processing weekly.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities: create & submit job requisitions, monitor job postings, screen resumes, schedule & conduct interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding activities: ensure completion of pre-employment activities and onboarding paperwork, coordinate first day orientation, send new hire announcements
  • Assist Production with coordination of temp labor and converting temps to permanent employees
  • Assist with benefits enrollment for new hires and annual open enrollment
  • Enter data, update employee records, upload documents, audit data in the HRIS, manage personnel paper files.
  • Assist with employee relations and escalate to HR Manager as needed
  • Process 
  • Organize employee events and engagement activities
  • Prioritize and manage requests from employees and management
  • Work closely with Payroll, Hiring Managers, and other internal team members
  • Perform other duties as needed

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated exceptional people management skills
  • Prior experience with payroll and tight timelines
  • Manufacturing plant experience desired, but not required
  • Familiar with ISO & OSHA requirements
  • HRIS Payroll System knowledge (ADP, Paycor, desired but not required)
  • Microsoft office proficiency required (Excel formulas, pivot table, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or relative experience in human resources in lieu of degree.

Additional Information

Salaried exempt position; Range $55K-65K annually; bonus incentive eligible.
