Top quality vials for pharmaceutical customers
Düsseldorf/Shanghai, May 2016 – Gerresheimer is very well positioned in the Asian market with six plants for the production of glass and plastic products. This year, Gerresheimer Shuangfeng is presenting its vials, ampoules and cartridges for the pharmaceutical industry to the trade public at CPhI.
“We recently upgraded our production machines to bring about a sustainable improvement in quality. It will allow us to establish higher standard global quality standards,” said Jens Heymann, Vice President and Chairman.
Vials are one of the most frequently used pharmaceutical packaging products in the world. They are also one of Gerresheimer’s key exhibits at CPhI China. Gerresheimer manufactures vials in sizes of between 1 and 50 ml.
Besides the vials, Gerresheimer is showcasing some of its other core products, including ampoules, cartridges, laboratory vials and other speciality products in quality type I, II and III clear and amber borosilicate glass.
Gerresheimer Shuangfeng already has over 30 years of experience in vial production and several certifications that no other competitor in that region has. The company is supplier to more than 300 pharmaceutical companies in Asia, the USA and Eastern Europe, and market leader in China.
The Gerresheimer production facilities in China, Europe and the USA operate as a global network, which is why all their employees are being provided with the same training in the use of the new machines.
Gerresheimer’s pharmaceutical glass experts will be on stand W5E02 at CPhI in Shanghai between June 21 and 23. The venue is the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Centre).
